PokerStars, WSOP, and BetMGM recently announced a series of major online poker tournaments this month. These tournaments shall occur in New Jersey and have over $4 million in guaranteed prize pools.
With a wide variety of online games for players of different skill levels and lucrative prize pools, these online events allow you to compete against some seasoned players in New Jersey. Besides, players have an opportunity to win trophies.
⭐️WSOP Super Circuit
The WSOP (World Series of Poker) website will host this year’s first Online Super Circuit Series. This series guarantees players win prizes amounting to $1 million. The website is going to host the series from March 9 to 16. WSOP has increased this year’s championship rings to 18 from the standard 12.
The WSOP tournament is available in New Jersey and Nevada, with separate series happening in Michigan and Pennsylvania at the same time. The Michigan and Pennsylvania tournaments allow players to win an extra $470,000, which adds a lot of excitement to this action-packed series.
You don’t have to be a resident of these states to participate in the tournament. However, you must be physically located in one of them.
WSOP Poker Events
One of the most anticipated poker events by WSOP in 2023 is the $525 main event. This event is starting on March 26 and guarantees players in Nevada and New Jersey a prize pool of $250,000. On the other hand, the prize pool for players in Michigan and Pennsylvania is $50,000. Most of these tournaments will feature No Limit Hold’em. In addition, players also access a few Omaha tournaments.
Michigan and Pennsylvania states will host the maiden Mystery Bounty circuit events for additional excitement. The following are the most notable events in New Jersey and their respective dates:

Upcoming WSOP Tournament of Champions
Interested players will have a few months to qualify for the WSOP Tournament of Champions. The tournament is open to all 2022-2023 circuit ring and bracelet winners and has a prize pool of $1 million.
This year’s tournament has a new qualifying slot, which shall be at the beginning of the tournament schedule. The slot will run from May 31 to June 2. Players who have won 2022-2023 online or live WSOP Circuit rings will be eligible for the tournament.
Win a WSOP Main Event seat in New Jersey
The World Series of Poker Main Event satellites are back. These events allow players to win a seat at the $10,000 tournament. Players can compete on WSOP.com every Sunday in March, and the events start at 6:30 pm.
Although the cost of each seat varies depending on the website, players may win a seat at a fraction of the actual price.
⭐️PokerStars NJSCOOP
PokerStars will host the Spring Champion of Online Poker (SCOOP) tournament from March 17 to April 3. The tournament series has 252 events and a guaranteed prize pool of $5 million.
The SCOOP tournament series runs in a shared pool of New Jersey and Michigan, with over $3 million guaranteed. In addition, it will run separately in Pennsylvania, and players may get a chance to win over $2 million. This year’s prize pool has low, medium, and high buy-in levels available and will be the largest in the history of Spring Champion of Online Poker in America.
The buy-ins range from $10 – $2,500, allowing this year’s tournament to cater to various players. The series is starting with an Eight Game Championship special, with available buy-ins of $20, $50, and $200.
Turbo Night Fight will take place on March 17, with buy-ins of $30, $100, and $250. The event is available to Michigan and New Jersey players and offers a guaranteed $7,500, $15,000, and $25,000.
The two-day $300 buy-in high Main Event highlights the SCOOP tournament series. This event is starting on April 2 and has a $300,000 guarantee in Michigan and New Jersey and a $200,000 guarantee in Pennsylvania.

⭐️BetMGM Bounty Blitz Poker Series
BetMGM is also running a poker series in March. The Bounty Blitz series is their latest tournament and is available for Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey players.
The Bounty Blitz poker tournament will run from March 16 to 19. It will feature nine events, and the buy-ins shall range from $20 to $1,000. BetMGM shall host up to two events every night, with a prize pool payout of $100,000 in every state. This year’s series will run independently in every state.

- Partypoker (NJ)
- Borgata Poker (PA and NJ)
The marquee tournament of the Bounty Blitz poker series will take place on March 19. This tournament has a buy-in of $1,000 and a guaranteed payout of $50,000. Players will be rewarded a $500 bounty whenever they knock out their opponent.
The BetMGM Bounty Blitz Poker Series is similar in every state. In addition, all the events in this year’s series are No Limit Hold’em. The following are the notable events in the series:
